I am a PhD student on the FCT-Doctoral Program: Robotics, Brain and Cognition supervised by Prof. Alexandre Bernardino, Prof. Lorenzo Jamone, and Prof. Santos-Victor.
I have received my Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2014 with the Thesis “Real-time graphical simulation for visual-based pose estimation and self-calibration of a humanoid robotic arm”.
My main research interests are on computer vision and humanoids robots. In particular, I am interested in visually guided reaching and grasping, online robot self-calibration, and visual servoing.
I have participated in the EU projects FIRST-MM and Poeticon++.
